The 2002 Program

This site will continue to host the 2002 program for archival purposes.

• View the Program Summary, a list of sessions by day and time, with links to the session pages.

• View the Program Participants Index, a list of participants in alphabetical order with links to the sessions where they participate.

• The session pages, which you reach from either entry point, list the session time and room, the chair and discussant (if any), and the authors and titles of the papers or posters to be presented, with links to the online abstracts, where available.

Program Committee

The co-chairs of the 2002 Program Committee are Marta Tienda, PAA President-elect and John Knodel, PAA Vice President-elect.  They have named an organizing committee of people who are affiliated with their home institutions, Princeton University and the University of Michigan.

Important Dates

	April 30, 2001	Deadline for receipt of suggestions for the 2002 Annual Meeting
	July 31, 2001	Call for papers, with list of topics and organizers, sent to all PAA members
	October 1, 2001	Deadline for submitting papers or abstracts to organizers
	November 15, 2001	Session organizers notify authors of accepted papers and forward promising papers to Program Committee Co-Chairs
	December 15, 2001	Author notification for abstracts or papers accepted in overflow regular sessions or poster sessions
	February 15, 2002	Final date to make online revisions to abstracts of accepted papers
	April 13, 2002	Deadline for receipt of completed papers by session chairs and discussants
	May 9-11, 2002	2002 Annual meeting in Atlanta, Georgia
